Be your own Financial Adviser
Let me equip you with the tools to manage your own finances.
"Spend what is left after saving, not save what is left after spending!"
— Warren Buffet
Why?
Because I believe that everyone should have access to some form of financial advice. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated like picking individual stocks or investing offshore. Most people wouldn’t even know how to access a Financial Adviser or feel that some don’t speak in plain and simple terms.
How?
We will start with the basics, like how to budget and put some money away for the future such as a deposit for home or some long term savings for you and/or your children. If you have pensions, we can review these to see if you are making the most of your contributions and tax allowances.
What?
For a fixed fee we will work together to co-create your own individual personalised financial plan. I will help to guide you and provide ongoing support to ensure your stay on track to meet your financial goals. Think of me as a personal trainer for your finances!
Key to managing money
Creation
The first and hardest step is to get started. I will help and guide you into better understanding your own finances, including assessing your own income and expenditure and creating a robust plan to help you reach those future financial milestones.
Execution
Once we have co-created your financial plan, it’s time to put it into action. Remember, financial planning is a continual process and you won’t notice the impact in the short-term. However, when you look back, after achieving your milestone, you will be amazed at the progress you have made.
Discipline
“Without discipline, you will never start and without consistency, you will never finish.” Remember to sense-check every single purchase, direct debit and monthly subscription. “Can I afford it? Will it affect me in achieving my goals?
And if you are struggling, remember we at HelpMePlan are on hand, to coach and guide you to stay on track.
