About me
Having been a Financial Adviser for most of my life, advising clients in high-street banks, businesses and high-net worth individuals, something didn’t sit right with me. I was helping rich people get richer and simply hitting targets for the companies I worked for.
Almost 20 years on, from when I first began my career, I’m now at the point where I want to help people with the basics of financial planning to help them better understand their relationship with money and take control of their own personal finances.
I’m now in my 40’s, have a small family and live in a modest semi-detached house in south-west London. I was fortunate enough to achieve many of my financial goals, such as saving for a deposit for my first property, paying for a wedding, saving again for a home move and setting up investments for my future. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s amazing at how many young people I speak to that have absolutely no idea when it comes to personal financial planning.

In the UK, it is estimated that there are approximately 18 million people who may need financial advice but won’t be able to access it due to the costs involved or their salary or savings amount is below the limit for most Financial Advisers to consider worth their while.

Through my years of experience, I will help to empower and provide you with valuable insights into how to manage your own money and stay on track. Whether that be, to review your pensions, set up an emergency fund or even just getting a better handle of your own spending and saving. `Help Me Plan` is a low cost financial planning and coaching service designed to help everyone with their finances.
